about

It’s an atypical Christmas fairytale although it does (more-or-less) have a happy ending. Although the agony of the search for our final member looks like a vicious circle and is making us despair, we have joined forces around a spontaneous thought which formed itself into a project that gave birth to our version of the ballad ‘The Fairytale of New York’.

The song was brought to light on November 23, 1987. using as main protagonists Shane MacGowan and Kirsty MacColl, whose voices (in a splendid contrast between harshness and melody) sung a bittersweet dialogue of a couple whose dreams and youthful dreams were buried by alcohol, drugs and greed.

We’ve performed the song in our own way, without excess copying, imitating, wrapping into ten layers of cellophane and golden ribbons. We actually treat every song in that way :)
